Synopsis :
Ji-An (Kim Sun-A)
is a successful shoes designer and a director at a high-end shoe
company. Even though Ji-An is in her late 30's, she isn't interested in
marriage. The only thing Ji-An cares about is shoes and her job.
Meanwhile, 20 something year old Tae-Gang (Lee Jang-Woo) dreams of becoming rich, but for now he works with his dad making imitation high-end shoes.
While Ji-An attends her father's 70th birthday party, she
receives a phone call that something is wrong with the prep work for a
fashion show. Ji-An leaves the party and rushes to the fashion show, but
on her way there she runs into a motorcycle driven by Tae-Gang. They
have an argument over who caused the accident, but, finally, Ji-An
offers to pay for the minor damages on his motorcycle if he gives her a
lift to the fashion show. Tae-Gang accepts and Ji-An makes it to the
show and fixes the problem.
Afterwards, Tae-Gang takes Ji-An to the hotel where her father is
having his birthday celebration. When they arrive, Ji-An discovers that
her parents have already left. Tae-Gang then takes her to the Seoul
Station to catch her parents before they leave. Ji-An is able catch up
to her parents right before they board the train. Her father complains
about Ji-An leaving early and they have an argument. After her parents
leave Ji-An cries on a bench. Tae-Gang follows her to get money for his
motorcycle repair.
They then begin to talk and discover that they have some things
in common, like not being the greatest kids to their parents. They then
go to a restaurant which Tae-Gang's friend runs. When they are about to
leave, Tae-Gang tries to put her into a taxi, but she is so drunk he
can't. The next morning they find themselves laying on a bed together.
They are both freaked out. Prior to leaving, they both pretend nothing
happened.
Ji-An sees a doctor. The doctor warns her that she is going to
experience menopause soon. Back at work, Ji-An has trouble selling shoes
because of fake products. To catch the counterfeit shoemakers, she
walks around a shopping area at night. There, she runs into a guy with a
bag of counterfeit shoes. She's surprised to see that the guy is
Tae-Gang.

Love Rain" depicts a 1970's pure love and a love from the present day

In-Ha (Jang Keun-Suk) is a university student majoring in art. In-Ha and his friends Dong-Wook (Kim Shi-Hoo), a medical student, and Chang-Mo (Seo In-Guk), a law student, are popular at school, especially with women. In-Ha, Dong-Wook and Chang-Mo also enjoy playing the guitar and singing together.

One day, In-Ha passes female student Yoon-Hee (Yoona)
on campus. It takes no more than 3 seconds for In-Ha to fall in love
with Yoon-Hee. He later sees Yoon-Hee sitting on a bench, while
painting. In-Ha begins to paint her portrait, but the next moment she is
gone. In-Ha runs out to find her and, in his excitement, bumps into
Yoon-Hee. Yoon-Hee drops what she is holding. In-Ha helps to pick her
stuff up, but doesn't say anything to her. After she leaves, In-Ha
discovers a small notebook that she left behind. The notebook is her
diary. At night, In-Ha opens up the diary and reads a page. He learns
that Yoon-Hee's parents died and she loves the American film "Love
Story." He then closes shut the diary. The next day, In-Ha waits for her
outside a campus building to return her diary. When he turns around and
is about leave, Yoon-Hee appears and asks In-Ha if he has seen her
notebook. In-Ha doesn't speak up in time and misses returning her diary.
In-Ha then reads more from her diary, this time from front to back
multiple times.
On a rainy day, In-Ha sees Yoon-Hee standing in front of building
without an umbrella. In-Ha offers to walk her with his umbrella. As
they walk together they feel a bond. A date is set to meet the following
Sunday to watch the movie "Love Story".
Later, Dong-Wook takes In-Ha and Chang-Mo to a get-together at a
restaurant. Dong-Wook asks In-Ha and Chang-Mo to help him get closer to
Yoon-Hee. Dong-Wook met Yoon-Hee the day before and also fell in love
with her. She reminds him of his late mother. Because of this, Dong-Wook
had asked his friend Hye-Jung (Son Eun-Seo) to bring Yoon-Hee to the get-together at the restaurant.
Present Day
At a train station in Hokkaido, Japan, Joon (Jang Keun-Suk) and Ha-Na (Yoona) bump into each other. Ha-Na's cellphone falls into Joon's pocket without either person noticing. Joon is a photographer and a playboy. He came to Hokkaido for a photo shoot. Ha-Na is a student studying in Hokkaido and about to depart back to South Korea.
At a train station in Hokkaido, Japan, Joon (Jang Keun-Suk) and Ha-Na (Yoona) bump into each other. Ha-Na's cellphone falls into Joon's pocket without either person noticing. Later, Joon hears an odd cellphone ringtone. Joon then realizes
that he has someone else's cellphone in his pocket. Meanwhile, Ha-Na
goes to a shooting site to retrieve her cellphone, but Joon isn't there.
Because of Joon's constantly changing schedule, Ha-Na's misses him
three separate times. Finally, Ha-Na goes to Joon's hotel. After waiting
until past midnight in the hotel lobby for Joon, Ha-Na decides to go
into Joon's hotel room to retrieve her cellphone. Nobody is in the room
and the door is unlocked. Ha-Na finds her cellphone, but suddenly Joon
and a model walk through the door ...

Han Ji Eun is a naive writer who got swindled out of everything she
owned including her house by her best friends. Stranded in China, She
managed to borrow money from an actor Lee Young Jae to return to Korea.

seorang penulis novel internet, adalah rumah yang didesain oleh sang
ayah dan diberi nama Full House. Dasar apes, keluguan malah membuatnya
ditipu habis-habisan oleh dua sahabat masa kecilnya Dong-wook dan
Hee-jin.
Rupanya, kedua sahabatnya tersebut membutuhkan uang dalam jumlah banyak karena Hee-jin hamil, dan satu-satunya jalan adalah mengirim Ji-eun ke luar negeri dengan alasan memenangkan undian dan saat sang pemilik tidak ada, Full House dijual dan uangnya dibawa kabur keduanya.
Keruan saja, Ji-eun yang tidak tahu sama sekali terdampar di negeri yang asing. Sempat gembira karena bisa duduk bersebelahan dengan aktor yang sedang meroket Lee Young-jae, perkenalan mereka berubah ke arah yang buruk setelah gadis malang itu muntah tepat dipangkuan sang aktor akibat kebanyakan makan.
Akibatnya, Young-jae menolak membantu saat Ji-eun kehabisan uang. Namun, sikapnya langsung berubah saat tahu gadis itu mengenal Yoo Min-hyeok yang juga sahabat sekaligus kakak angkatnya. Mengira bisa menyingkirkan pria itu dari penata rias sekaligus sahabat yang disukainya sejak lama Kang Hye-won, Young-jae dibuat gigit jari saat tahu kalau ia telah dibohongi Ji-eun.
Perkenalan keduanya yang berakhir buruk ternyata merupakan awal dari musibah yang dialami Ji-eun. Saat kembali ke Korea, ia baru tahu kalau rumahnya telah dijual ke seseorang yang tak lain adalah Young-jae. Dengan segala cara gadis itu berusaha merebut kembali kediamannya, namun berbagai cara yang dilakukan selalu gagal.
Kesempatan akhirnya datang ketika Young-jae, yang berusaha menutupi perasaannya terhadap Hye-won, mencium Ji-eun di sebuah pesta yang dipadati oleh wartawan. Demi menepis gosip miring yang beredar, sekaligus dengan maksud melindungi sahabat masa kecilnya tersebut, mereka akhirnya sepakat melakukan kawin kontrak dengan tenggang waktu beberapa bulan dengan bayaran Full House.
Hidup bersama Young-jae ternyata tidak mudah, pasalnya Ji-eun kerap diperlakukan sebagai pembantu. Tidak hanya itu, aktor tersebut juga kerap membuatnya jengkel dengan sindiran-sindiran (salah satunya panggilan burung bodoh) yang berulang kali membuat gadis itu sempat berpikir untuk hengkang (meski akhirnya tidak jadi).
Siapa sangka, kehadiran Ji-eun ternyata membawa suasana lain dalam kehidupan Young-jae dan keluarga besarnya. Hubungannya dengan sang ayah yang sudah lama dingin mulai menghangat, sementara sang nenek, yang awalnya antipati terutama karena sang cucu menantu yang dianggap jauh dari konservatif, malah berbalik menyayangi Ji-eun.
Pelan-pelan mulai tumbuh benih cinta dalam diri Ji-eun, begitu pula dengan Young-jae meski pria itu terlalu angkuh untuk mengakui. Tapi tentu saja hubungan mereka tidak mulus, pasalnya Hye-won baru sadar kalau dirinya tidak ingin kehilangan Young-jae dan berusaha merebutnya kembali. Selain itu, masih ada Min-hyeok yang dengan segala sikap ksatrianya selalu ada disamping Ji-eun untuk menghibur.
Keadaan semakin rumit setelah keduanya tahu kalau Ji-eun dan Young-jae ternyata melakukan kawin kontrak, ditambah sikap plin-plan Young-jae yang meski menyukai Ji-eun, namun juga tidak berani menolak kehadiran Hye-won.
Puncaknya adalah saat Ji-eun tidak tahan lagi dan memutuskan untuk mempercepat proses perceraiannya. Sakit hati dan mengira hal itu dilakukan supaya sang istri bisa bersama Min-hyeok, Young-jae mengiyakan keputusan tersebut meski akhirnya sadar kalau dirinya tidak bisa kehilangan si 'burung bodoh'.
Yang terjadi malah kebalikan dari sebelumnya, Young-jae ganti menuruti semua permintaan Ji-eun supaya tidak kehilangan sang istri. Semua berakhir bahagia, karir Young-jae yang sempat melorot kembali ke puncak berkat film yang naskahnya ditulis oleh Ji-eun. Tidak hanya itu, mereka juga mampu menjaga persahabatan dengan Min-hyeok dan Hye-won serta pasangan Dong-wook dan Hee-jin, biang keladi dari semua kejadian tersebut.
